Lisa and partner Jimmi have made a vision come to life, by taking on a very old and pre-loved building situated at the southern end of town on Weraroa Road (main street of Waverley on State Highway 3) which has been smartened up creating a useable space to open their own art studio.

Lisa has recently won internationally acclaimed awards for her work - she is passionate about what she does and obviously has a lot of ideas, with a love of colour and texture, these ideas are yet to present themselves in completed works.
Jimmi is a self confessed perfectionist. Some of his porcelain pieces are so tactile you just have to pick them up and feel the buttery texture under your fingers.
Creating a space for two very talented artists to project their ideas onto wax, then plaster and finally glass has been a process not gone unnoticed by locals and passersby alike. Jimmi was the force behind construction, often working with rudimentary hand tools as power was not available.
Lisa was quick to say she had googled Waverley long before moving here and up popped our local community website which gave her a much appreciated introduction to this area - and here they are.
Everyone is welcome to drop into the studio when the Artists are in residence. Plans to hold informal small workshops are also being considered for the future.
